Professional Services Client Success Story: Charleston Distilling Co.
End of 2019, Charleston Distilling Co. reopened after taking almost a year to relocate, import the largest still in North America from Europe, and build out an entire building on John’s Island around this marvel, when a little thing called the pandemic hit.
South Carolina law requires for consumption at a tasting venue, participants must experience a facility tour. Due to the pandemic restrictions, no one could actually tour the distillery, so we got a call from Charleston Distilling Co.’s marketing teamexplaining their dire need for a venue tour video.
In spite of the vast restrictions of operating at an extremely limited capacity, our virtual dynamic walk through tour allowed Charleston Distilling Co. to keep their tasting room open, guests had to scan a QR code to view their “Virtual Tour” a lá our steadicam of the facility.
This was such a fun and dynamic project to be a part of, and one that truly distilled the sense of make-it-happen entrepreneurialism. Photos and videos played such a huge role in continuing to promote sales through staying relevant with a new location out on Johns Island (25 minutes away from their former King Street location) and allowing them to keep their doors open. It was a pleasure helping the wonderful crew at Charleston Distilling Co. (and so fun to go to ride up to the top of the stills and peep inside, and see the mash towers!)
