Amanda + Austin's Merchants Hall Wedding in Downtown Charleston SC: Dark and Moody Wedding Video

So he asked her to roller skate with him in middle school…“We spent the first five hours of our first date just talking… and we hadn’t talked in almost twenty years. He made me laugh. We’re both SUPER strange. For starters, we both enjoy a onesie (Yoda, batman, Donkey Kong for starters…).” Maybe I love Amanda so much because she is living proof that a man can indeed be converted into a cat-lover (God bless you, sweet Avery), in addition to a dog-lover. Amanda and Austin chose Merchants Hall for their wedding venue. It’s chic, oozing with Charleston’s southern idyllic brick walls, right off of Market Street in the heart of downtown Charleston’s historic district.

Cori & Anthony's Elegant, PASSIONATE Fall Wedding At The Historic Gadsden House Downtown Charleston

We tagged the Gadsden House (like the good social media millennial wizards we are), our ridiculous story was reposted on The Gadsden House’s feed, and Cori’s amazing mom, Vickie, saw our idiotic exploit about the rainbows, and thought, “Cori and Anthony are goofballs, too, they would totally get along with these girls.'“

Y’all. Cori and Anthony have a legit — and I mean, LEGIT love story. It’s The Notebook status, I’m telling you.

Charleston Locals Taylor and Alyssa - An Intimate Low Country Fete At The Farmhouse At Kiawah River

Our favorite freakin’ moment of all time? That time Taylor surprised Alyssa and sing to her for their first dance at The Farmhouse at Kiawah River.

Uh… yeah, that happened. The best part? Right before being introduced officially onto the dance floor, Alyssa looked at Taylor and said, “Don’t do anything crazy, okay?” In the weeks leading up to their wedding, Taylor kept playing off practicing for their first dance…little did Alyssa know what he had up his sleeve! He performed, “Dressed Up In White” by Cal and stole not only Alyssa’s heart in that moment, but also EVERY OTHER PERSON WITH EARS who witnessed this sweet, sweet moment.

Ali & Quinn's Charleston-Chic Summer Wedding @ Runnymede Plantation

Okay let me tell you why this was the best wedding in the entire universe. I’ve got two names for you: Ali. And Quinn.

I don’t think we’ve filmed a more charismatic, sweet pair of human beings than these two. It was love at first phone call chatting with Quinn over a year ago. It’s almost rare these days we get to film two Charleston locals— but we had a home-court advantage working with this power couple.

Katie and Jacob's Charming Southport, NC Wedding at Live Oak Cafe

When Katie called me last year and told me about her and Jacob’s Southport wedding, I had to pinch myself. Southport is idyllic, one of the most charming little coastal towns — a small town center with all kinds of cute shops and haberdasheries. When I visit my all-time favorite Captain and his wife, who relocated from the Caribbean to Southport, we usually get around on bikes the whole weekend. Southport is the perfect laid-back, easy-paced place to gather with family and friends to celebrate a wedding.

Royall and Allston's GORGEOUS Spring Wedding @ Historic Arcadia Plantation In Georgetown, SC

I have to start off by saying we had way too much fun making this video at the incredible Arcadia Plantation and working with Allston and Royall’s amazing families-- I don’t even know where to start. Two of my personal favorite moments? Watching Allston and Royall on stage dancing alongside their parents and friends, and seeing them walk through the glow of sparklers; fancifully getting away in that LEGENDARY Bronco with their pheasant feather crowns. Absolutely chic and delightful.
