Forget stuffy traditions and cookie-cutter weddings – Christina and Brian threw a bash at Charleston's William Aiken House that was all about old-school glamour, playful antics, and a whole lot of fun. As a Charleston wedding videographer who thrives on capturing unconventional love stories, I was stoked to be part of their big day.

Christina and Brian’s gorgeous wedding ceremony took place in the William Aiken House courtyard in front of the Carriage House, with Cocktail Hour and Reception on the lawn and upstairs veranda and interior.

She sent them on a legit treasure hunt involving bourbon.
Can we talk about THE EPIC TREASURE HUNT CHRISTINA SENT THE BOYS ON?!! We're talking handwritten letters with riddles on them to lead the boys throughout the William Aiken House property. Christina and Brian aren't your average couple, and their wedding reflected their unique personalities. The day started with a hilarious treasure hunt for the groomsmen, culminating in the discovery of a rare bottle of 12-Year Pappy Van Winkle bourbon. (Cheers, boys!)

Christina, a vision of old Hollywood glamour, absolutely owned her wedding day. Her confidence, humor, and impeccable style shone through in every moment. From her stunning gown to her signature swagger, she was the epitome of a modern bride who knows how to have a good time.
This woman. Equal parts saucy and chic-- "Oh I'm gonna finish this!!!" Remarking on Brian's gesture to send her his glass so she could enjoy sipping on bourbon while she finished getting ready.

The William Aiken House Ceremony That Broke All the Rules
The ceremony at the William Aiken House courtyard was anything but traditional. With a friend as their officiant, the couple exchanged vows inspired by the Titanic theme song (yes, you read that right!). It was a hilarious and heartfelt moment that perfectly captured the couple's playful spirit and deep love for each other. It was one of the most perfect sermonettes we've ever filmed.
A Courtyard Reception That Rivaled the Catalina Wine Mixer
The reception was a non-stop party, fueled by Veuve Clicquot, an epic dance floor, and the amazing tunes of Southside Station. Guests mingled, gambled at the blackjack and poker tables, and danced the night away under the stars. The atmosphere was electric, and the energy was contagious.
