How many of your projects do you work on as a creative are in line with your soul fire? You know what I'm talking about—the bucket list stuff. Experiences you want to have. Places you've always wanted to visit. Emotions you've always wanted to draw out in your work.

I think as a creative entrepreneur (that equal parts business, equal parts artist) — it's ALL TOO COMMON for us to sacrifice our creative fire on the altar of the almighty dollar — taking on work we really don't give a sh!t about — work to keep the lights on, pay the bills, pay for our fried chicken habit, rather than setting aside the time and energy to continue directing or producing work that feeds our soul fire.

Don't get me wrong, I love that shiny green paper with dead presidents on it as much as the next person, but throughout my career, I've found myself in moments where I'm swamped in work, and my soul energy is sucked dry.
